Music Ministry

What a journey! During this time of transition in our music ministry, God has taught me so much. I know it has been His divine purpose for this season in my life. 2 Corinthians 3: 17-18 says, "But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, then the veil is taken away. Now, the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, He gives freedom. And all of us have had that veil removed so that we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like Him and reflect His glory even more." This has become my life verse. I want to be a mirror of His character to those whose lives I touch on a daily basis and to the one whom I will only have one chance in which to reflect His glory. This can only happen through spiritual growth. Spiritual growth happens when I set my heart and mind on following Christ, knowing Him more each day, taking His words to heart and doing His will. The more I know Him, the more my "mirror" will reflect His character. I pray that AMRBC will be filled to overflowing with shiny, bright mirrors who continually reflect His glory. I challenge. all of us to take time each day to make sure we are focusing on Christ in all that we do, so that our "mirrors" are reflecting Him to those around us.

In His Name,
Julie
