Nursery Volunteer – For members or regular attenders. Rock, play and love on babies in one of our 6 nurseries for toddlers and younger. It is a great opportunity to meet other members and parents on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings or Wednesday evenings. Serve weekly or monthly. Preschool Helper at 9:00 or 10:40 – For members or regular attenders. Assist a teacher in a classroom for 2’s, 3’s or 4 year olds. Serve weekly or on a rotation. Preschool Teacher at 9:00 or 10:40 – For members. Discover the joy and awe that comes with teaching preschoolers the foundations of faith and marvel as they come to adore both you and the almighty God to whom you get to introduce them. Elementary Helper at 9:40 or 11:00 – For members or regular attenders. Assist a teaching in a classroom for K5-4th graders. Serve weekly or bi-weekly. Elementary Teacher at 9:40 – For members. Let God use you in the spiritual formation of kids in Kindergarten through 4th grade. We’ll give you the support, He’ll give you the blessings of watching kids ask Him to lead change their lives forever. Children’s Church Teacher at 11:00 – For members. Join our energetic children’s church team of puppeteers, actors and music leaders who lead a 75 minute kid-friendly church service for kids in Kindergarten-2nd grade. Music Leader for PreK or Elem at 9:00 or 11:00 – For members or regular attenders. Lead kids in age-appropriate music for 10-20 minutes during Sunday School or Children’s Church. Puppeteer or Drama at 11:00 – For members or attenders. Work with a team of other adults and teens to add puppet and drama elements to our 11:00 children’s church and preschool classes. Must be able to practice at least twice a month. Choir Director – For members. Direct a 3 year old, 4 year old, K5-1st grade or 2nd-4th grade choir. Lead our kids to learn more about God as you prepare them for 2-4 programs or ministry opportunities a year. Choir meets for practice on Sunday nights at 6:00pm. Choir Assistant – For members or regular attenders. Assist a choir director in organization, keeping kids safe and building relationship with a preschool or elementary choir. Choir meets Sunday nights at 6pm. Awana Commander – For members. Oversee all the operations of Awana, connecting with volunteers, encouraging kids and being a resource as needed. Awana meets Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30pm. Awana Secretary– For members or regular attenders. Keep track of attendance, awards and inventory for our elementary or preschool clubs. Awana meets on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30pm. Awana Director – For members. Oversee a club at Awana – Games (for elementary clubs), Puggles & Cubbies (Preschool), Sparks (K5-2nd grade) or T&T (3rd & 4th grade), equip leaders, encourage clubbers and organize the club’s resources. Awana meets Wednesday nights, 6:00-7:30pm. Awana Teacher – For members. Teach elementary or preschool children during the 10-30 minute counsel time of Awana. Awana meets Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30pm. Awana Preschool Leader – For members or regular attenders. Encourage preschoolers as they learn about God and assist the group’s teacher on Wednesday nights during Awana, from 6:00-7:30pm. Awana Elementary Leader – For members or regular attenders. Act as a coach and a cheerleader for 3-5 elementary children in a small group format for 30 minutes on Wednesdays during Awana. Cheer them on to memorize verses, listen to them recite and encourage them to keep trying. Awana meets Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30pm. Awana Games Leader – For members or regular attenders. Assist Games director in leading kids safely in fun, energetic games. Games draw kids into Awana – this is an exciting 30 minute segment of the 6:00-7:30 Wednesday night Awana program. K.O.O.L. Kids Planning Team – For members. Help plan Wednesday night activities for preschoolers and/or elementary children during the summer. KOOL Kids stands for Krazy Over Our Lord and teaches kids about missions from 6:00-7:30 pm on Wednesday nights in the summer. K.O.O.L. Kids Assistant –For members or regular attenders. Assist on Wednesday nights with preschoolers or elementary students, weekly or monthly as they learn about and experience missions in exciting, age-appropriate, ways in the summer months. Vacation Bible School Crafts Director – For members. Lead a team in planning, organizing and budgeting the resources and volunteers to teach daily crafts to elementary or preschool kids during VBS. Planning begins in February, and VBS takes place in early June. Vacation Bible School Snacks Director – For members. Lead a team in planning, organizing and budgeting the resources and volunteers provide daily snacks to elementary and preschool kids during VBS. Planning begins in February, and VBS takes place in early June. Vacation Bible School Games Director – For members. Lead a team in planning, organizing and budgeting the resources and volunteers to lead daily recreational activities to elementary kids during VBS. Planning begins in February, and VBS takes place in early June. Vacation Bible School Music Director – For members. Lead a team in planning, organizing and budgeting the resources and volunteers to teach daily missions & music to elementary or preschool kids during VBS. Planning begins in February, and VBS takes place in early June. Vacation Bible School Teacher – For members. Teach 1-3 groups of elementary or preschool children during a week of VBS. Planning begins in February, and VBS takes place in early June. Vacation Bible School Guide – For members or regular attenders. Connect with a group of 15-25 children, along with other adults and teens, as you lead them through different stations of VBS each evening for a week in June. Vacation Bible School Snack Team – For members or regular attenders. Get to know dozens of other adults and teens as you help prepare and serve snacks to elementary and preschool kids during the week of VBS in early June. Vacation Bible School Games Team – For members or regular attenders. Get to know dozens of other adults and teens as you assist with games for elementary kids during the week of VBS in early June. Vacation Bible School Craft Team – For members or regular attenders. Get to know dozens of other adults and teens as you help prepare and teach crafts to elementary or preschool kids during the week of VBS in early June. Vacation Bible School Registration Team – For members or regular attenders. Be a liason to parents and get to know dozens of other adults as you help register and check-in children during the week of VBS in early June. Vacation Bible School Prayer Team – For members or regular attenders. Get to know dozens of other adults and teens as you pray together (for the kids, teachers, volunteers and parents) during a segment of VBS, during the week of VBS in early June. Vacation Bible School Follow-Up Team – For members. Visit new families and connect with kids who made decisions during VBS. Follow-up takes place in the weeks after VBS, in mid-late June. Vacation Bible School Decorating Team – For members or regular attenders. Get to know dozens of other adults and teens as you help design, create and/or decorate the sanctuary & foyer of the church during the weeks prior to VBS in late May-Early June. Vacation Bible School Tear-Down Team – For members or regular attenders. Get to know dozens of other adults and teens as you help de-decorate VBS, organize the resources and help get them to a church who can use them next. Sports Camp Coach – For members. We provide all the resources you need to teach kids either basketball or cheerleading as you take breaks to teach and model the Word of God to them during a 4 day morning camp in the summer. Sports Camp Assistant – For members or regular attenders. Assist a coach in encouraging kids either at basketball or cheerleading during a 4 day morning camp in the summer. Sports Camp Music Leader – For members or regular attenders. Lead kids, twice a morning, in age-appropriate warm-ups & worship during a 4 day morning camp in the summer. Sports Camp Snacks & Lunch Team– For members or regular attenders. Help prepare snacks for campers during a 4 day morning camp, and prepare lunch for the volunteer coaches and assistants. Summer Camp Teacher– For members. Teach campers the Word of God during segments of one or more summer camps – including sports, arts and cooking camps. Summer Camp Assistant – For members or regular attenders. Assist with one or more summer camps for preschool or elementary children. Camps include topics such as cooking, arts, preschool, etc. Preschool Camp Teacher – For members. Teach a 3 hour preschool camp for 4 days during one or more of our 3 preschool camps during the summer, for ages 3-5. We’ll provide the resources and assistance for the exciting week of preschool camp. Upward Coach – For members. Lead a team of kids to learn, practice and play either soccer, flag football or basketball for a session during the year. We’ll train you and provide the resources for this position that will change your life! Upward Assistant – For members or regular attenders. Assist a coach in teaching a team of kids about soccer, flag football or basketball for a session during the year. We’ll train you and provide the resources for this position – watch out – you’ll get addicted to Upward! Upward Referee – For members or regular attenders. Never reffed before? No problem! We’ll teach you all you need to know. Be prepared for your side to hurt at all the laughing you’ll do watching our kids play Upward sports. You’ll love this ministry!
Resource Room Team– For members or regular attenders. Help keep our rooms and resources clean and organized. Prepare resources for teachers and help us keep inventory, too. Resource team members volunteers on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. |
